Issues with Dating age gaps isn’t about the immediate effect, it’s long term how people mature over time, the only way an age gap relationship doesn’t fail is if you grow at a similar level to them, and that only happens if you’re not going to mature much over the next 10-20 years

Honestly after college age things start to even out. I have friends who are in their late 20s and friends in their 30s and were similar. Every once in a while I realize it or they do but overall not too different. Im 24 btw

The guy who dated me when I was 21 and he was 31 was acting like Peter Pan, he didn't want to grow up and I think that's why he was dating so much younger. He thought I wouldn't be asking for commitment, settling down, etc. Now that I'm almost 30, I can't imagine dating anyone that young. Maybe 35 and 45 is where 10 years feels less significant lol
