Well if I waited 90 days for my Italy cruise 90 days before hand all of the balconies were sold out so no thanks unless you want an inside room

This is fine if you just want something cheap and don’t care what cruiseline, ship or itinerary. Typically the ones that have a lot of space available that close to departure are the worst ships, itineraries

I will not stay in an interior cabin. I want a balcony, unobstructed view. I will pay more to get what I want. vacation only happens once a year for us.

Not true. It doesn’t work if you can’t go whenever or last min. We always book at least year in advance and then we check and prices go way higher.
