@beauhaircreations: You keep telling yourself “what if it all goes WRONG”, but what you should be saying is “what if it all goes RIGHT” I have been doing hair since 2018, but it wasn’t until August 2023 that I decided to leave the ‘security’ of my old job in employment to become a full time self employed hairdresser. The switch terrified me! Where were my clients going to come from? How was I going to make enough money? Would I even be good enough? What if it all goes wrong?! But then something inside me changed, I wanted this so badly and I was willing to work for it to make it happen, so I shifted my mindset to what if it all goes right! And my god has it gone right!! Has it been easy? Nooo! Have I made mistakes? Absolutely! But have they been worth it? Hell yeah! Because now I am a self employed hairdresser who is fully booked 3months in advance and I’ve even started my own podcast @theovershairclub to share other hairdressers journeys. I still have some things to figure out and will constantly be learning on the way, but by getting out of my comfort zone and switching my mindset, I’ve built a business I am proud of and love!
