Im a white person and my best friend forever has been black, I love her so much and growing up I never saw the difference between us. I thought we were sisters. Its not all of us, but I completely understand why its so worrisome for people of color. Justice for Nolan.

I agree. I can have a party and invite good people who do see color and acknowledge that racism is so systemic that unless one makes a concerted effort to examine this, take off their goggles, and look at their privilege at the cost of people of color, they just won’t get it. It’s often worse if they grew up broke because they deny they have privilege—they don’t get. Coming full circle, I can have a party and invite good people—who are safe, but I can’t control who they will bring. That said, I hate that you are right about this, but you are and I hate that for people of color. A solid investigation must be demanded from all of us!

And maybe that is the problem in some cases African-Americans do not see color. We are inviting to everybody and honestly maybe we shouldn’t be…. but hey just an opinion because it seems as though too many of our children are mysteriously dying when they are with their YT counterparts it just does not add up correctly for me!!

we all see color. those guys definitely wasnt his friends. I dont even think he knew them well. I think he was so young n didnt know better. when I was younger I went to a all white parties with a white friend. I was the only blk person there. I felt awkward. some of them wasnt friendly. i got older and said I cant believe I did that. I dont go any where, where I am the only blk person there. in.my opinion if we the only one chances are, racist people are there.
