I agree entirely, dropping Lundgaard is a HUGE mistake... but I your sole goal is the Indy500, is Scott Dixon's experience with that more valuable to that goal? I don't know the answer to that question but it's something I do wonder.

I think Lundgaard was a mistake. If they don’t think he can win a 500, they still would have Pato who’s been close multiple times and they’re bringing in Dixon who can help with the experience of winning a 500 an be a team captain. Lundgaard is having a stellar season and I think can challenge for a championship. o’Ward, Lundgaard, and Dixon would have been a heck of a line up. TK and ZB are taking a big risk to get that triple crown. They better hope it pays off.
