Outline Project 3 - OP3: A Frame-by-Frame, Hand-Painted Stop Motion Graffiti Animation. My plan was to wait for summer before diving into a full-color lettering animation. But after witnessing the hypnotic loop that emerged from just twenty frames, the idea of painting every single frame transformed from a “maybe someday” into an irresistible itch— The weather, naturally, had other plans. Instead of the mild conditions I’d been promised, I was greeted by the season’s first proper cold snap, spending my days painting in temperatures that graciously fluctuated between -3° and 3° Celsius. Character building, they call it. Watching days of frost bitten labor compress into a few looping seconds makes you wonder about time in strange ways. It’s almost like a hands-on philosophy experiment: collapsing linear, frozen hours into a perpetual, living moment. Does this animated piece carry any memory of the cold that birthed it? Similarly, how do we know our own lives aren’t already complete drawings in some higher dimension, a reality we’re wandering through frame by frame, blissfully unaware of the full sketch? I’m genuinely proud of what emerged, even if it hasn’t quite reached the vision dancing around in my head. But this process confirmed something important: Mural Art Animation is going to become a natural way of sharing wall work. I can feel myself stumbling into the early days of something larger. This experimental route has rekindled that old obsessive spark I felt years ago when first exploring new techniques and visual languages. A proper camera and a sturdy tripod are no longer wishlist items—they’re the next essential step in this slightly mad journey.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ #StopMotion #StreetArt #Animation #graffiti #hiphop
