Gloves are also not sterile. They literally come off a production factory line and immedietly into a cardboard box. Your freshly washed hands will always be cleaner than a fresh glove.

as someone who has taken a microbiology class: Gloves that come in the big boxes aren't sterile. they protect the person wearing them from coming into contact with the substance being worked with. The End
