Since I live in Montenegro, I try to visit different beaches whenever I have time on the weekends. These are the 3 beaches I enjoy the most. 🥂 1️⃣ Pura Vida Beach This is probably the beach I visit the most on weekends. I really like the beach club here. Compared to many other beaches, there is less seaweed on the seabed, so the water looks cleaner and clearer. The beach has small pebbles, so if you have sensitive feet, I recommend bringing water shoes or flip-flops. There is a large paid parking area. Sunbeds start from €25 for 2 people, and there are larger options for groups. If you’re planning to visit on the weekend, I recommend making a reservation at least 2 days in advance. There is also a free public beach area. 2️⃣ Jaz Beach Jaz Beach is about 1.2 km long and is one of the biggest beaches in Budva. There are many beach clubs and restaurants, so you can easily find an option for almost every budget. We usually choose the beach clubs on the left side because there is less seaweed and the water is clearer. My favorite is Hotel Poseidon. I think it’s a great value for money, especially if you plan to spend the whole day there. However, the water near Gioia Beach is even clearer, so it’s worth checking out as well. There is a large free parking area, but after 11:00 AM it can be difficult to find a spot during summer. Sunbeds usually start from €15–20, depending on the beach club. If you don’t have a car, you can also take a bus from Budva city center. There is a free public beach area as well. 3️⃣ Kamenovo Beach Another one of my favorites that you can easily reach by bus from Budva. There is a parking area, but I recommend arriving early on weekends. Sunbeds start from €25 for 2 people, and there is also a free public beach area. One thing I really like here is the DJ events during the summer. Check their Instagram page before you go.
