1. I do my own morning analysis before I speak to anyone. Same routine my students follow. If I'm not doing the work, I've got no business asking them to. And by the way, if this sounds like the coach you've been looking for, comment FIX and I'll hop on a free 1-1 conversation. We'll figure out what's actually stopping your trading and build a plan to fix it. 2. I take notes on every call. Not for me, for them. I go back through every conversation and pull the pattern. Over hundreds of calls this becomes its own library. 3. I trade small on purpose. My account isn't there to prove anything. It's there to keep me sharp on the same setups I'm teaching. Big trades create ego. Ego makes you a worse coach. 4. I read something outside of trading every day. Philosophy, history, biography. The best coaching comes from framing the same problem in a way the student hasn't heard before. 5. I train physically. An hour, most days. A tired coach gives lazy answers. 6. I keep a list of my own mistakes visible. Trades I got wrong. Habits I've had to fix. It stops me pretending I've got it all figured out. 7. I ask better questions instead of giving faster answers. Most of the time the student already knows what's wrong. My job is to make them say it out loud. 8. I say no to students I can't help. Someone in the wrong stage. Someone looking for a magic system. Someone who wants me to trade for them. Taking their money is easy, and it ruins the coaching for everyone else. 9. I stay in touch with people I've coached. Not to sell them anything. To see what worked six months later. Half of what I know about coaching came from following up long after the call. 10. I'm 41, which means the trader in front of me might be where I was at 31. I owe them the answer I wish someone had given me then. I wasted years thinking I had to be louder to be trusted. #tradepsychology #tradingcoach #mentaltrading #tradermindset #tradingpsychology
