If a data centre uses idk 50GW of power annually why isn’t there be construction plans/ costs for that infrastructure baked into the plans for that datacentre. Why are we fronting that cost for their profit margins?

It’s not about building them. We neeed them so it’s up to the data centres to find their own electricity. So they either build there own renewable or buy it from the uk.

It's not just storing our photos, netflix and internet banking (i.e. useful stuff), it's most likely storing a lot of crap as well like browsing and shopping habits so that things like ads can be personalised
