its not just tension bro. I got a front taper to separate my afro from my hairline. Your hairline will look cleaner if you taper your front, and it lasts longer.

But if I’m getting a retwist only every 3-4 months then there’s not much tension on my locs especially if I get a style with no retwist in between those times I don’t think traction alopecia will catch up to me
