Well I can’t chose and control who I develop feelings for. For Some girls I had as a friend I did, for others i didn’t. In some moments I though „oh yeah she is really cute“ but then thats just like for a couple minutes and it’s gone again. Idk maybe I’m just super weird

The problem is that people let their societal identities control them. I have a lot of female friends, never had any romantic feelings for them, I see them as fellow human beings. I fespect them just as much I respect my male friends, no difference there in my opinion.

What does the study he cited have to do with men developing romantic feelings for their female friends? The study has to do with how men handle breakups. He also says that men can form emotional bonds with their nuclear family that have nothing to do with smex. So there’s a precedent for that, so they should be able to do that with women as well.

here's how great it was in the '80s before cell phones. if you were friends with a girl, she did everything she could to get you to date one of her friends right? because they didn't have the ability to build social status by themselves. they needed friends to build social status and I thank God. I'm 57 years old. I had sex in the '80s. I had girlfriends in the '80s because now I have a 30-year-old son who's better looking than me makes more money than I ever made. cannot find a woman. cannot find a one because in 2026 Instagram has destroyed you. it is destroyed how women get validation when in the '80s they just had friends. there was no online presence to go. backstab your friend to increase your social status

the answer to if someone can have friends of the opposite sex is simple. Need to answer these questions do you see them as a normal individuals and how much emotional control do you have? like even if you develop a crush on them at the start its fine because usually can push that away if you just control emotions and focus on them as a person and not your emotions. The issue is people focus on their emotions and end up having thoughts to that enable their emotions. If you can't help but focus on emotions thats becsuse you have bad emotional control not something destined to happen. people just like to put blame on other things but themselves.

the reality is 99% men don't value women unless they are attracted to them. the only male "friends" I have ever made are secretly attracted to me until they eventually let it slip and the men that aren't attracted to me act like I don't exist.
