I feel like in addition to name frequency there's a factor of I think people named Eve might be more likely to avoid dating Adams than people named Steve (and the other way around for Adams avoiding dating Eves/Steves)

I think if my name were Adam or Eve and straight, I would consciously avoid a partner with the opposite name because it would be like living inside a cartoon. If I were named Adam or Steve and gay, I wouldn't consciously avoid the pairing, because it would be like being in on the joke. or, if I got bored with the joke, I'd just introduce Steve first and most people probably wouldn't notice the callocation avoided

Through some math the amount of heterosexual Adam and Eve couples within the US would be ~27 but the amount of homosexual Adam and Steve couples within the US would be ~6. (I could’ve done the math wrong I’m not that good at probability stuff). This isn’t accounting for like societal stuff like people named Adam and Eve naturally being pushed towards dating or knowing eachother bc of their names.
