Hugh reason to betraying her in the show is probably because his wife is gonna die tumble town and he’ll snap and blame team black and Ulf wanted ig respect and a castle but since he doesn’t get those two he’ll betray team black as well (my opinion)

I think one thing people don’t consider is that Ulf and Hugh were essentially regular peasants. And we saw in season 2 how the peasants don’t care about who’s on the throne they just don’t want to keep suffering. We’ve seen that loyalty to a king or queen doesn’t matter to peasants, so it makes sense why they would flip especially if you’re not keeping your promises

It's genuinely going to be such a fumble. Even if you can't keep the promises 100%, WAIT until the damn war is over and do your best to keep them happy. What is it to give a lordship to two dragon riders? They're like 50% of the reason you'd be winning. I understand not giving the Targeryan name, but the rest should be easy and not wanting to legitimize Alan and Adam is crazy.

Can we just all finally agree Rhaenyra isn’t fit to rule? She’s making more enemies while alienating allies. She can’t commit to a path, cant follow through, and can’t see the actual threats in front of her. She’s trying to mimic Viserys’s rule, despite him being a peace time king, and she’s listening too much to Mysaria who has a one track mind. Rhaenyra was always about the pageantry of being the heir, but she was never actually taught to be the heir. Part of that isn’t her fault. Viserys named her heir but then ignored actually teaching her the fundamentals of ruling. She keeps trying to sit in the middle of what her council tells her and that is causing major blunders.
