I had a 1.4 Tdi Polo (210 000km) and 1.9 Tdi Jetta Mk4 (300 000km) with no issues. The MK4 Tdi engin is the best Tdi engine VW ever built. One of my friends has this 1.2 Tdi blue motion polo that he bought new and is now standing on 450 000km on the clock. He also has absolutely no issues. The secret is to keep your injectors clean by using diesel injector & turbo cleaner regularly and you will not have any issues with the injectors. The vehicle will last if you maintain it properly. I am now driving a 2.0 Tdi blue motion CC and must say what an excellent piece of engineering.

I had one drove it for 10 yrs ( 340k on the clock) without any problems, just service proper in reduced intervals from 15k to 10k n strictly use Sasol diesel 👌

🤞😅 you definitely correct with those rubbish injectors, cost me loads of money to get those injectors sorted, twice in a matter of 2 months . but I must say it saves me big time on fuel
