I’m the caseworker who rearranges her scheduled because one of my kids was having a bad day and needed someone to talk to. I’m the caseworker who the kids ask to live with. The policies don’t matter to me, I’m there for the children

I often find myself watching little ones in public, assessing their situation to try to determine if they were lucky enough to be loved. I’ve stopped to help so many kiddos in poor situations. I’d love to go into social work to help the babies that are much alike to myself, to be the light I needed when I was their age.

As someone who’s going into CPS to be the person that these kids needed when I was their age, I’m completing college to be the one case worker that will keep their word. Getting my associates this year and I’m gonna keep going for these kids!

i just met a guy at a party who told me he was studying social work to open his own private form of cps and it was really cool to hear it as someone whos an early childhood education major, we gotta help all the future babies 🥲
