i’m really not trying to diminish her feelings at all, they’re completely valid! i just wish more women understood that not getting pregnant for 6 months of trying isn’t “infertility”. i think that word puts a lot of negative feelings and pressure when you’re trying and not getting pregnant. it’s not uncommon to have to wait a few months after starting to try for a baby. i completely understand all the emotions, i just think that word scares a lot of people if they don’t fully understand it🤍🤍

I didn’t tell anyone because I didn’t want anyone to know we were trying but it got to a point where it was my whole life I had to talk about it. And when I finally did I found so much camaraderie. 3 of the hardest years of my life that all feels like a dizzy dream now. Sending anyone who is ttc so much love ❤️

Couldn't agree more. My partner and I hid it from our family and tried to navigate it alone. Only after it completely broke me down we opened up and the support has made this extremely hard road a little more bearable

I went through many years of infertility and I promised myself I would not keep it in. I wrote about it in our Christmas letters much to the dismay of my parents, however I found so much Unity from those who wrote me letters about their own struggles. ps, we have three daughters of our own from china, China and Taiwan. Three daughters of the heart🥰
