Allahumma Barik, I am so happy for you that you have opened your heart to the truth and that Allah (swt) has guided you. I have the utmost respect for reverts like you, as the journey to Islam always involves challenges—whether stemming from family, friends, or the general lies the media spreads about Islam. But never lose your trust in Allah (swt); He did not choose you without reason, but rather because He wants to see you again in Jannah. Even those of us born as Muslims are constantly learning more about our faith; especially when born into a family that does not fully practice the religion, one must find one's own way to Islam. We do not have to be perfect, for that is not what Allah (swt) expects of us. Yet, as long as we follow Him and our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), no harm will befall us without us being rewarded for it. May Allah (SWT) help us all become better Muslims and live in a way that pleases Him 🤲🏻🥰
