Absolutely usless. Holds for a bit then falls off. Even on clean glass. Anytime there is a slight temperature differential it falls off.

Personally I would prefer an option for a Ball mount from a different maker, then I could use a mount that fits my phone case and has a charger built in.

they come off just like all the others I have one and it. will hold about 3 days then it falls off just like the rest.

I have one, and this is a nice phone holder, but when you screw them together and hand tightening them, they can easily come loose. Also I have to magnetic one instead of the one that squeezes the sides of your phone. i swapped out the part that connects to my phone with another one that recharges my phone. i will probably be putting some JB. Weld, in the screws to stop them from coming loose. this will only stick to your windshield or a screen. Why not stick to any surface, that isn't completely smooth.

I bought one just like that one you showing right now , it work for a few months and now it won't stick to anything , the succión cup won't hold to anything, glass,metal,plastic etc. etc. ......

I HAVE AN OLDER ONE!!! LOVE IT!! I DIDN'T GET THE VERSION WITH LONGER ARM. :/ AND YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BUY A FLAT MOUNTING DISK IF U R GONNA MOUNT IT TO THE DASH!! ALSO IT IS NOT 100% METAL BUY IT IS MADE VERY VERY WELL!!!

I have 3 Magic John mounts in my vehicle for me, and my daughters when we travel. WHEN it gets installed its a strong bond..but like any other, with EXTREME heat, and EXTREME cold, they release. I have mine on the left of my steering wheel. a while back, I opened my door and it feel and the "sucker" got a rip. Asked if its warranties, they said no because I dropped it, even their their lack of suction is the reason it fell..so yeah. while it holds its great, but domt believe the hipe..it WILL fall at the most random and inconvenient moments...

I have two, and on both, the rubber on the inner portion of the plunger, rips and renders it useless. Didn’t have long either
