I’m 17, I’ve seen many articles saying that my generation will have it very rough when finding housing and jobs because they are so high in demand, do you think the fire service is the correct path for me (I work a fast food job and have been saving for a while) but I guess what I’m getting at, is this a stable enough job to spend my 18-19/ early 20s?

Pulled 200 K the last three years with plenty of overtime need to get two more years at 200 K to look at my pension at 150 before I go into the drop. 24/72 switch next year should make it easy peasy
