No new hire is ready until after 4-6 months. Every job has a learning curve. It’s the manager’s job to either have better evaluative processes or get new hires to speed.

If it’s a good new hire and they are trained properly, this does NOT happen. Sometimes Employers fail new hires by not having the proper training in place.

I left our new hire alone for 10 minutes and she downloaded a virus. A few weeks later, I had to leave work early for an appointment. While I was gone, she missed her chair while sitting down and broke 2 vertebrae
