Islam teaches us to protect our hearts from envy (hasad) by being grateful for what Allah has blessed us with and making du’a for others instead of wishing their blessings away. What Allah has written for you will never miss you, and what He has written for someone else can never take away from your provision. May Allah purify our hearts, fill them with gratitude, and protect us from jealousy. Ameen.
