I’ve said the same about walkie-talkies. The Apple Watch has that feature to talk with other Apple Watch users. It’s cool. No one around me that has one is onboard. I’m surrounded by texters and callers.

I'm a handyman and I use voice to text all the time, either because I'm wearing gloves or because it's just faster. I do get frustrated when I switch between French and English, because voice to text has some difficulty in that, and I have to work on pronouncing everything correctly in both languages which can make me sound pompous.

i feel like texting was created to compensate for never improving the phone call tech. we still get static, feedback, distortion, dropped calls etc. but the sound on the phone’s video recording is pristine? 🤔

im a phone call guy In a texting world and the trick is when someone texts you respond with a call or never respond and eventually they'll just start calling you for everythijg cause they'll figure out that they'll never get a text back anyways
