As someone who does both this is wildly inaccurate. also just because you take a moment to wait for a drink doesnt mean you're not busy, sometimes it means if you pass that bitch without her cocktail again shes gonna take it out of your tip

Nope, if I’m standing there waiting I stay asking if my girls need new bottles, ice, want me to run some drinks to their people, literally anything I can go do for them while they stay at the well. It’s a team effort for all of us to make money.

I'm a Bartender, and it's by far the Most insane job in the room at times, but servers absolutely kill it in Chaos, and they're more patient with recalcitrant customers (look it up) whereas Bartenders can get away with alot.more of a flippant dialog (look that up, too, I'm oldish 😆)

as someone who does both some bartenders choose to overwhelm themselves and then make it everyone else’s problem and they ignore the server drinks to prioritize the bar drinks and by time the server comes to check for their drink that should already be ready the bartenders just startin or hasn’t and then makes a TikTok with this narrative 🤣

I disagree. I’ve done both and I prefer bartending because you aren’t running around the way you do when your a server🥲 sure rushes suck but not compared to the serving rushes where you have to run around the entire restaurant & do multiple jobs. Bartending you stay in your area and you have most things at your fingertips unless you need to restock. But that’s juhhh me

2 bartenders no tables just the bar and the servers drinks. Yes it’s difficult for sure, but I’ll run a 27 table room by myself that holds 200+ people. Both jobs are hard. We’re on the same team trying to make the same money. Let’s be nice to our bartenders and vice versa
