rtd coming back was maybe the worst thing to happen to the show BUT i would like moffat to come back in a more advisory role, overseeing production and general direction but not writing. moffat actually seems to care about the legacy of the show rather than making it his personal toy box and is trust him to offer a steady hand.

It's not been good in almost 10 years since Moffat stepped down as showrunner, we've had one okay season in Flux with Power of The Doctor the rest has been awfully bad.

Moffat once made a statement that you don’t panic about the show when all the shows are saying it’s about to get cancelled, you panic when they aren’t saying it, cause that’s when its worth nothing to anyone and it’s going away
