Your take home of $1400 means you make AT LEAST $35 an hour. If your preschool costs are $950 a week, then you should probably find a new preschool because that is insane for one week. If that is a month, then you make $5,600 a month after taxes.

For those who don’t have kids yet. I strongly recommend doing a budget to include family planning before deciding to have kids. It’s not a game. “Quality” child care is basically a mortgage payment. And if you have multiple kids, you definitely need to assess the cost.
