The only one I haven’t read is the first one Gabrielle Garcia Marquez, but I really skew to Europeans, but in addition to reading the other four, I have also read Homer, Chaucer, Beowulf, The Brontë sisters, Mark Twain, Tolkien, Dostoyevsky, Moliere, and many more

I'd add Fedor Dostoyevsky or Tolstoi. Russian literature is essential. You gave a good list though, and they actually may help to divert to other authors after reading those

I’m 5 for 5. I read Garcia Marquez in Spanish. I read Tale of Two Cities by Dickens, I’ve read the big three Austen books - Emma, Sense & Sensibility & Pride & Prejudice. I’ve read 3 Hemingway - Sun Also Rises (my favorite last line in a book), For Whom the Bells Toll & Farewell to Arms. I’ve read many of Shakespeare’s pieces: Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, Midsommer’s Night Dream & Hamlet of course.

5 out of 5, more than one work per mentioned writer, but I’m just old. I had more time to read.

I’ve read the complete works of William Shakespeare, I’ve read the complete works of Charles Dickens and I’ve read the complete works of John Steinbeck, which is not on your list. There’s more but I don’t feel like going on.

Marquez (The Autumn of the Patriarch); Dickens (A Tale of Two Cities); Austen (several, but Pride and Prejudice is my favourite); Hemingway (The Old Man and the Sea); The Bard (complete works).
This is a good foundation. For a broader scope, I'd add Toni Morrison, Michael Ondaatje, Chinua Achebe and Kazuo Ishiguro.
