In the 90s I used to drive from Virginia to Michigan and then back, all alone, without a cell phone. The thought of doing that now is horrifying to me. 😳

my dad was stationed in Japan in the early 90s. I was 12, left the base, and started exploring. I was lost as hell! zero people spoke English and I had to shit so bad. had to use a car dealerships bathroom. got yelled at in Japanese when I got out. finally found the base perimeter and just followed the fence until I got to a gate entry lol.
