@londontaxiguide: *Correction - I meant to say it was Donald Campbell who broke the land speed record in 1964, who is Sir Malcolm Campbell’s son! This Art Deco building has undergone a lot of changes over the past 100 years, but @Bluebird restored the connection to the building’s roots as the grand showroom of the Bluebird Motor Company. Their history is tied to the Blue Bird vehicles used by racing legend Sir Malcolm Campbell to set the world records for land speed and water speed - the land speed record was later broken in a Blue Bird driven by his son Donald Campbell CBE in 1964 at over 400mph! #LondonTaxiGuide #BluebirdChelsea #ArtDeco
