What do you think about feeling it's disrespectful of a partner to put themselves in socially compromised positions where even if they truly are not cheating it looks to an outside observer like they are or are trying to cheat? Should a partner be allowed to feel disrespected when the other partner doesn't take into account how their actions reflect on their partner and their relationship? For example, a partner dressing up to go clubbing regularly without their partner.

these arent rule man they are boundaries. if i told her in the beginning of the relationship that i don't want you having guy friends and if she has then that's a deal breaker for me. she has the absolute right to leave or compromise and stay in the relationship, I'm not forcing her to do anything I'm just stating my boundaries and if she doesn't like them she can leave, as you said i don't wanna force her to do anything.

I agree with all of this except for the guy friends still. They can choose all of that but what is the need for friendship/validation from other guys or to hangout with them when they have you? I dont feel like thats a rule i think its just a respect thing. Some people are okay with not being respected but some are not. Imo
