People hate to hear the truth, so many tragedies every year and yet they are still allowed to be sold to the public in some states. It makes me sick! They are not toys, they are not for fun! They are to be managed by professionals in a remote manner not to be lit by a single person ever! Even professional ones pose a huge risk to the team doing it and the bystanders hoping for a beautiful show! They are amazing and beautiful but it is so irresponsible as an adult to encourage. Sending healing vibes and may you find strength through the dark times!

I am trying to be sympathic but this is literally warned every year yall. We learned this as kids. Stop thinking you’re too big for the program. The rules DO apply to you no matter how much you don’t think they do. I am sorry he had to learn this lesson the hard way. Wishing him recovery, and maybe once he’s better he can be an advocate and an example of why the rules of fireworks applies to everyone. Godspeed.

I can’t tell if yall are 16 or 22 but if he is an adult, and I know you probably don’t wanna think of this stuff now, have him file for disability right a way. My dad would send us terrifying videos EVERY single year before the 4th to remind us to watch the fireworks, but not play with them ourselves. This is exactly one of the very important and real videos that could remind someone next year to be safe.
