@nauvoo.halfling.house: Here’s a little foundation fun time! I’m very not wealthy, so I couldn’t afford to do a fully poured foundation. But turns out laying block nonstop for weeks gives you hecka shoulder muscles 🙌🏻 If you’re curious why my dad, brother, brother in law (blessed angels thank youuuuu) and I are in the trenches in frog-togs, the pump truck that was supposed to pour all the footers in place called the night before the pour to say their kid had broken their arm and they wouldn’t be able to come. So we pivoted best we could 😅 Bless my mom and sister who laid all the rebar while we were busy trying to get the pours even and smoothed things out the best they could. Are they the most gorgeous footers ever? Nnnnope! But they are BEEFY, wide and deep and strong. And I love them. #hobbit #lotr #construction #building #home
