Iāve always been pro choice but honestly becoming a mum made me even more pro choice. I absolutely love being a mum but it is without a doubt incredibly hard and you shouldnāt be doing it unless your heart is fully in it and youāre ready to make a lot of changes and sacrifices.

I completely disagree. I always said I didn't want kids and I really meant it. The thought of not being my own person and just being a mum was awful to me and I was not willing to make any sacrifices, I wanted to keep travelling and doing whatever I wanted with my partner. I fell pregnant at 35 when I thought I was going through early menopause and didn't find out until I was 12 weeks and now that he is here, I can't imagine a life without him. I am so in love with him and being his mum that I'm so mad at myself for not having a baby sooner. I almost can't believe how much time, money and pain I spent on breastfeeding because I didn't care about anything other than doing the absolute best for him. It was such a wild change in mindset the second I laid eyes on him.

Iām glad youāre being honest. Most people go oh just have a child itās the best . Iām on the fence . Iām not maternal at all and now Iām married everyone assumes we are having kids . We may or may not who knows

I always wanted kids my whole life and when I had my daughter I genuinely had days early on when I thought what the hell have I done, Iāve ruined my life! Things are so much better now but honestly no clue how people who donāt even want kids that much do it

I certainly wasnāt geared up for it. Found out when I was 30 weeks and it has been the hardest experience I have ever, or will ever go through and I completely agree with everything you said. She is the light of my life now at 15 months, but I truly lost myself in motherhood and Iām still not backš„²

iām 23. i did not want children until 30. fell pregnant had THE HARDEST pregnancy. was homeless half way through it too. after giving birth i fell in love and have had THE BEST experience so far. sheās 6 months on monday š„°

I actually genuinely never ever wanted children. It was a known thing from when i was young.. I now have a 14 yr old daughter and 8 yr old son. The moment i knew i was pregnant, my whole life and opinion changed. Thankfully!

I love the honesty and transparencyā¤ļøhaving children isnāt for everyone and that is okay. Some women do want kids & some donāt, everyoneās path & support system is different.

I absolutely hated the newborn stage. Now that baby is older itās getting better, but youāre right I wasnāt convinced I wanted to be a parent yet, and I hated every second of it

This is soooo true. I love being a mum to the depths of my bones, our little one was very much wanted and planned after 7 years of marriage, but Iām glad weāre only having one. š I always thought I was going to have loads growing up!
