I wanted to ask you something about your process when making posters. How do you first conceptualise the story or narrative you want to convey and how do you decide which elements will be part of the poster? I am especially interested in knowing how you choose the images and texts. Sometimes I see posters that have photographs or illustrations, but also include different types of letters: some are huge, others very small, some look like simply small inscriptions or written information and not necessarily phrases. And that's where I find it difficult to understand the process: what exactly is written on a poster and how do you decide what should go big, what should go small and what directly doesn't need to be? For example, do those little words have any meaning within the concept? Are they titles, dates, names, places, descriptions, fictional information, text fragments or simply graphic elements to complement the composition? I would also like to know how you decide which typography to use and why. There are posters where large and very striking letters predominate, while others are much more minimalistic and have hardly any text. What I really want to understand is the reasoning behind it: if you first have a story or concept, how that idea then becomes images, texts, sizes, fonts and composition. Because many times I want to make a poster, but I don't know what I should put. I don't want to just look for a beautiful image and add a phrase to it; I want to learn how to build the poster from an idea and understand why each element is there.
