I’m assuming you were on Rhapsody by the details you’ve provided. If so, 7554 is a SG category for whatever reason. The one next to it, 7556, however, is categorized as a 2B, which is Spacious Ocean View Balcony. Both have the same stateroom and balcony dimensions. For the random cruise I just pulled up, the SG is about $200pp more expensive than the 2B. I’d be hot too!!!

I don’t understand how guest services couldn’t handle that. You should have asked for a supervisor. Some ports have free WiFi too at stores like Diamonds International. At least you could have emailed them during your cruise to document.

spacious balconies cost more than regular ones about that much or more, so while you didn't get your sunset, you did get your monies worth. I could never go on a cruise and not know what room I have before setting sail. I would have caught it soon and go on the phone with someone to at least get on board credit. That is just me. There really isn't much they can do after the cruise is over...

You could have said ok… you want me to call put me through to them! I had to call them from the ship one time and guest service handed me a phone after they dialed the number.. this was a few years ago they may have changed that but always ask them to make that call for you!

This is soooo not true lol. I’ve done tons of upgrades and gotten each time. The customer service reps are very helpful and understanding. Can you please provide receipts to this claim? I just have a really hard time believing this entire story..

Yeah there is something wrong here because 7554 is listed as a SG but is in a sea of 1 and 2B. Seems like Royal has made a mistake on this deck plan.
