I felt this one. How do I call in the right friends? I’m in a void and I don’t have emotionally safe people in my life to even ask for help. I talk to my guides and the universe all of the time and I open up to new connections- more slowly than before but open. Still… it’s crickets. Yes I meet as many of my own needs as I can but I need people in my life to have the corrective emotional experience, ya know?

When I lost a boyfriend to addiction (he was only 36), I don't know how many people told me that I just had to be strong. One coworker, in particular, with her engagement ring on a necklace... "Oh, you just have to be strong!" And this was a couple days after his passing. Still makes my blood boil. It's okay to be human and fall apart. We're not designed to carry the weight of the world every minute of every day.
