you do not need 5 bridesmaids!! I hope any brides that only have 1 or 2 friends don't see this and start thinking they won't have the day they want!! I had 1 and she did everything and beyond on that list you just need one person who is happy to help and you will be fine

Maybe just me, but I really don't like the idea of giving my friends/family jobs to do at my wedding. Are we all not just there to enjoy the day? Would good friends not just automatically think to get each other a drink anyway? Can we not just keep an eye on the time ourselves to make sure we all keep to timings?

People need to stop acting like their wedding is the centre of everyone’s world. Many people have been married successfully and had the best day ever without any of this social media obsessed shit. Your bridesmaids should simply be the few girls you WANT to be there beside you.
