Depends on the bike. Most bikes now have quick shifters which allows you to let off the throttle for a split second to go up in gears. Then there is rev matching and auto blippers to go down in gears as well. So realistically if you can do it right you dont even need the clutch to change gears once you get up and going.

your 100% wrong it all depends on the adjustment of your clutch how much you need to pull the handle in stop spreading bad information

you pull the clutch? at high enough rpm all you need to go is let go of the throttle for 0.25 seconds

yes u can pull half.. but is it necessary? no.. just pull all the way in without risking breaking yr gearbox

By the time the clutch pedal on my bike gets about half way down I’m in another gear if I’m going slow or in traffic. Other than that the only time I use the clutch is if I’m coming to a complete stop.
