Its just a baby at the ens of the day, it doesn’t know he is a pet. He expects to sleep next to his mother.

get some noise cancelling headphones, they will save you. set your alarm at night for every few hours to use potty. then right back in. no excitement or attention just potty at night. only let out when quiet so they know they can't cry to get out. had my dachshund trained in a few days and it's her safe space now she loves it. the headphones are much needed though so you don't feel bad and before you know it they will be adjusted.

When she calms down/stops barking be sure to give her a treat to let her know calm is good. Stay strong mamas. I also have mine a treat every time they went into the crate, to make it feel like it was a good thing to be there
