FACTS!!!! Gone are the good old days when you could walk into a Goodwill and get a brand new ice cream maker for $8. I did that at our Goodwill when it first reopened after Covid. I went into that same Goodwill one month ago and they were selling a used ice cream maker for $79. I could’ve paid 30 more dollars and gotten it brand new. They were selling a used Breville Juicer $99. I could’ve also gotten that on Amazon but refurbished for $118. Goodwill is not meant to be the same price as online. They took all the designer purses and started putting them online. Yes I can still go in there and craft myself a put a decent wardrobe of all natural fibers but why? They took the joy out of the hunt. It’s sad. There are many places I can give my business that don’t over price.
