I was in the cosmetic industry for years, and I can confirm that what Nina Pool is saying is factual. Since I am no longer in the industry, I can talk about it openly now. It costs no more than five dollars to make an expensive perfume. What you are really paying for is the licensing, the bottle, the alcohol, the employees selling it, the store rent, and the insurance. The same goes for cosmetics. Buying expensive name brands is one of the biggest scams.
