@realisticrecruiting: 64% of jobseekers reject their resumes but 92% of recruiters told @enhancv that isn’t what is happening. Recruiters are scanning your resume for what they need to see quickly, not relying on a computer to tell them what to do. You need to make your resume easy to understand and see and stop worrying about robots. Check out the articles for yourself on their website to see what recruiters have to say.
so when i apply at 11pm and get a rejection by 11:04pm… you fr think a human is doing that?

If the human is making a decision based solely on an ATS score, is that human really making a decision?

I have submitted an application at 3am in the morning and answered the knock out questions correctly only to receive an email within minutes that the company was moving forward with other candidates. If not ATS, then a poorly written AT script to filter the applicants is rejecting resumes shortly after the app is passed to the recruiter’s inbox

I applied for a job and didn’t get chosen. Later was asked to apply by HR. Said I applied, applied a second time, and they still said they never received my application. It’s the ai man

Ashby and Greenhouse rank candidates based on "match score". If a recruiter has 20/100 resumes that are "good match" or 4/4 match based on how a recruiter configures the filters, AI might not be rejecting you, but you are definitely getting buried or hidden. this especially effects career changers, non traditional candidates, or non linear candidates. I'm looking forward to studies about confirmation bias.

Then tell me how I receive rejection emails within 24 hours, even when submitted my resume over the weekend to a company that has standard Monday-Friday hours. You can’t convince me that a human read my resume sometime between midnight Friday and Sunday morning.

Most people don't realize that you can use AI as a guide to summarize inbound resumes and help you decide whether they're fit for purpose, built into your application review saas app, and then once you've decided against, use ai to send the rejection letter. That multiplies your productivity by 20 x without actually changing Who makes the decision and based on what criteria. But to the applicant, it might feel like the AI is doing it all.

The ATS ranks candidates match score on a percentage based on magic keywords, experience and if it’s Workday then also age & race. But the recruiter does actually look at the score, clicks select all and then clicks delete
