I disagree. You are on the right track but too personal. You simply didn’t have what he wanted and he left. Be thankful he didn’t drag it out. You will do or have done the same thing we all do. We meet people, excited at first, get to know them and find out we don’t match, so we leave. Don’t internalize it so much as a fault with you or him. It happens.
