I live here in the south and am a burlesque dancer and Gogo dancer. Here in southern culture the older men are more “ respectful” and take rejection better. The younger men here catcall and yell and harass me more aggressively take no as a yes and fight security. I think where you live changes this but I find they are brasher because they only look for the approval of their buddies and they are always in a pack

I've found men in the UK seem to be quite aware of harassment honestly, not that they don't do it... but my worst experiences have been with younger men because theres a crazy "boys will be boys" culture imo..? (any brits lmk)
