salahs was never a foul, successful tackle, contact was natural and came AFTER the tackle, IFAB rules, no foul. Var reviewed it but it didnt go to the screen because there was nothing there. Goal disallowed because the ball was won because of an obvious foul. IFAB rules say var must review the ENTIRE attacking phase which is why it was disallowed. It was the same possession and attacking phase that started because of the foul. Of course its called back, doesn't matter how far they made it since the foul, It was a 30 second counter attack

Alvarez already won the ball and then Salah fell down very easily, not a foul. In the disallowed goal situation Lisandro Martinez was clearly fouled. His support leg was stepped on while he still had possession of the ball, causing him to fall. Those are two completely different situations and you cant compare them.
