I literally got out of paying for a $900 bill from a lab by just calling and asking questions. (mind you it was for 1 genetic test) . I asked about a payment plan but they said we do have a program where if you qualify, I would owe only $100. I qualified and then got an email saying I owed $0. I almost had to buy myself a gift for technically saving $900😆. Be your own advocate people. Ask questions.

In the mid 80’s a close friend and my sister in law were both pregnant. My friend didn’t have any medical insurance, my sister in law had the best insurance available at the time. My friend got billed $3,200 for her baby’s birth. My sister in laws birth cost over $10,000 through her insurance! Both were smooth births, zero complications. Make that make sense.

Always pay 10 a month if you can they will eventually offer you a large discount to get it off there loss statement. I worked in hospital auditing charts. She's spot on!
