In my eyes: It's strange like that. We surround ourselves with precious things. Hoping they'll give us more. More happiness, or joy.. and people forget to see the beauty in the small close things. The things that - actually makes us happy, appreciative. Or sad. Things within our reach, people we know - or don't, that touch us and make us feel. I had one experience at the MOMA in NYC seeing Starry Night. I was able to take a picture of my oldest child and I at an angle that made it look like we were alone. It really wasn’t about the original painting, but the fact that we both liked it and saw it in many books during his early childhood. It wasn’t really the thing but the moment.
