I can't speak for your experience, but listening to you made me think of something. For me, when I worked to be "beautiful" in the way society talks about, my body was at its most unhealthy. Truly taking care of my body, I look at myself in the mirror and feel beautiful as my body looks healthier than it ever has. It's a wild experience.

what do we do with the void, the lack of maternal love, i am 40 and tired of doing all the work, I am exhausted. I feel like I can never truly recover from this lack, this infacy and childhood love, nothing replaces it. only struggling, especially in the social context....
