I saw someone with an interesting theory. He said the whole point of the book is that it was written by unreliable narrators, and it was written to glorify the victor. And that the TV show was exactly what happened from an objective narrator.

everyone acting like Ormund can bleach and tone, but couldn't also have had red hair dye for the real Daeron, since Alicent had red hair being a Hightower. So many people have been acting like this means the real Daeron must be a redhead and they are even complaining that Condol made him the son of Alicent and Cole... guys hair dye exists as well as bleach 😭🙏
