Some things we believe so much we say we know them. Not because we are "faithful" or "believers". But because it would be nonsensical to think otherwise.

Atheism has to do with what is known to be true. There is no observable god, nor is there observable effects of a god's presence. Therefore, there is no reason to believe one exists. My lack of belief is what defines my atheism, not any belief.
